Repping Deebee!
Deebee, the Collabo master, is one of the few artists whose album impressed me. From the first track to the last track, I absolutely love them all! Collabo, one of the hottest tracks on his album is my all time favorite though other tracks like “Moti gbaso” and “Runmo” are competing with “Collabo.” He comes forth with an amazing style of lyrics and sound!
Deebee began his singing career at age 10 in the church choir. With musical influences like the legendary Fela Kuti and Bob Marley, his passion for music took him far and in 2000, he recorded songs, though not released, which featured 9ice and ID Cabasa. His first single was titled Ijo featuring 2phat and sparkleman. In 2007, he released his hit single, “Collabo”, which gave him the title “Collabo Master”. “Collabo” is definitely a smashing song which can be heard at parties and clubs and was nominated for Best Street Hop at the 2009 Hip Hop World Awards.
His album: Collabo Master, an album full of collaboration, was officially launched on the 28th of March 2009 and features artists like DJ Zeez and Gucci Wallywa. This is definitely one artist to watch out for now and in the upcoming years!!!
