MasterFlex a.k.a “Number one”, born Funmilade Lawal is a Nigerian dancehall, hip-hop, and R & B artist. His versatile dancehall lyrics and unique style of singing, rapping and song writing started in Mushin, Lagos with friends and his former music group. However, he parted ways with his group to focus on a solo career.

His highly anticipated debut album titled: “Brand new flavour” features collaborations with well established artists such as Durella and Da Black and producers like Terry G, ID Cabasa, Zee World, DJ Zeez amongst others. Perhaps, this is a smartest move any newcomer can do: have the hottest production on your album. His current hits: “Put your lighters up” and “Pon po” were produced by Terry G. Another powerful song found in street mixtapes is titled “Orijuorilo”. “Brand new flavour” is expected to come with a new package, new beats, new rhymes, new style, new flavor, new innovation, new sound and new lyrics. I can’t wait for this album to drop!!
