October 1st marks the 49th year of our independence from the United Kingdom and Rep Naija Artists wishes every Nigerian a happy independence day celebration. Nigeria has been through a lot since the time we got our independence from United Kingdom. Nigeria has seen drastic economic, political and technological changes amongst other evident ones and while we are sincerely glad to be where we at now compared to the contrary, Nigeria still has a lot of work to do ahead. As you plan to celebrate (or not) this weekend, please don’t forget to think about ways to make our motherland better. Not only do we need the ideas, we also need implementation of these ideas. Say no more to corruption, lack of electricity and the many plagues affecting this great nation. We’ll be doing our part and only ask that you do the same! Don’t forget to always REP the motherland: Nigeria! Are you proudly Nigerian?!!

While Rep Naija Artists is not doing or releasing anything to commemorate this milestone, our partner DJs who also represent the hottest coalition of Nigerian DJs will be at work blasting the best of Nigerian music.
