OOTV: GLAD
Born Glad A. Ikhuoria, this talented R &B artist hails from Edo state though born and raised in Lagos! He’s a graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic. He moved to Russia in 2006 to further his studies and continue his music career.
GLAD’s music is played on almost all online and terrestrial radio stations in and outside of Russia. With his fan base spanning the globe, GLAD started as a song writer at a tender age and grew up listening to all kinds of music from around the world. Two of his greatest influences are Bob Marley and Michael Jackson. He started with a 3 man group called Wubaduba and they have performed in shows and concerts in and around the Russian Federation. He served as the leader and songwriter of the group. He however left the group to focus on his solo career and is currently working on his album. He describes his style of music as “R&B with a Reggae hip-hop kind of flavour, something new with a nice melody“.
