TamaraKoro is a young potent Nigerian emcee of Ijaw/Igbo descent. Currently based in Virgina, USA and studying Marketing, he aspires to enlighten the world through rap music and a brand new sound hence the phrase ‘Tear Rubber’. I actually like his work. “Chop the Mic” has more of the current flavor of Naija hiphop to it (a blend of drums mashed with spoken pidgin under the Naija hiphop umbrella). “All the Trust” has more of a western hiphop feel to it though still Naija oriented!
I love both tracks!
“In America, they say that they rock the mic…In Nigeria here, we dey chop the mic”
“The mic be like eba, e be like stew, we dey chop am well”
