You’ve probably heard one of the tracks this group of friends featured on before on this site. The work with DJ Atte and Sazzy on the “Mr. DJ” track as seen here: http://www.repnaijaartists.com/2010/04/13/dj-atte-and-sazzy-drops-new-single-titled-mr-dj/
Now they are back with taking and freestyling over two beats from popular hits: Rihanna’s rude boi and Gyptian’s Hold yuh.

GRIP Boiz consist of 3 friends in their early 20s: J-Milla, Endia, and Yung El. They started their music career in late 2006 freestyling to beats on the radio and from local DJs in Jos. Producing a unique blend of hip-hip and reggae, they have been influenced by a wide range of artists, from Eddie Grant, Bob Marley, Movado, and Anthony B to Anita Baker, U2 and a host of African Artists. Currently students at the University of Jos, these trio have been able to juggle this passion of theirs with academics and have worked with other J-town (Jos-town :) ) heavy hitters including Jesse Jagz, Iceprince & Jeremiah Gyang.

Both tracks below were produced by chopsticks.
