Born Eferurhobo Joseph, Joey Plus is a Lagos based song writer, singer, entertainer and producer from Delta state, Nigeria. He started his music career at a tender age; playing the piano in the Church and listening to the music of Sir Victor Uwaifo, Omokomoko.
Joey Plus, understandably, claims he gets his influences from the likes of Timberland, Jay Z, R. Kelly, Kanye West, Neyo, and a host of others. In 2005, he recorded his first solo effort titled ”Oba tin seun”. After studying the industry for some years, Joey Plus released his newest single “No Tym” which features Dampte. Though I am yet to listen to “Oba ti seun” to be able to gauge how far he has grown as an artist, his latest single proves him to be a promising act.
