
Born Daniel Damilola Agunbiade, Danagog calls his style spicy. This Osun state native was born to Pastor Samuel Agunbiade and Hon. Olanike Omoworare (The First Female Deputy Speaker in Nigeria). Best known for his energetic stage performances and ability to carry any size or kind of crowd along, He is said to have an impressive stage-craft. His songs are based on his life often with an hilarious delivery but with an underlying deep meaning which chronicles the struggles, joys and aspirations of a young African trying to achieve his dreams. With influences like King Sunny Ade, Run DMC, Abba, Bobby Brown, T.I., Jay-Z, and P.Diddy, he performs in Yoruba, English and Pidgin English language, Danagog started his music career as far back as 2004. He signed with Smack Entertainment in 2009 and released a promo cd in lieu of his mixtape “Lobe International – The Mixtape” in preparation for the release of his long awaited and much anticipated album. The mixtape includes singles such as Skele, Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, and Mercy Johnson which describes his attraction to a Nigerian actress (Mercy Johnson).
