Just when you thought he disappeared right after releasing his album, Yesi lets us know he’s here to stay.
Earlier this year, Yesi independently released his debut album Coronation with singles G.R.A and Aura. (**Album is fire! Watch this site for an album review coming soon**) Coronation has been met with great fanfare from fans and music critics alike. Accordingly, Yesi’s efforts were recognized at the 7th annual UMA’s – billed as the Grammy’s for underground artists. The UMA’s has proved to be a good launching pad for the careers of the future heavyweights in the hiphop industry. Past winners include Lupe Fiasco, Nicki Minaj and Papoose.
The B.M.F freestyle showcases Yesi at his finest, with the artist seamlessly blending English, Yoruba and Pidgin to deliver a compelling Naija version of the street Anthem.
