Mo’Cheddah releases new single “Ko ma roll”

“Hot on the heels of a Hip-Hop World nomination and an MTV Base promo deal, the prolific hip pop artiste, Mo’Cheddah drops her new hit single titled “Ko Maa Roll”, off her soon-to-be-released debut album “The Franchise Celebrity”. Release date for her debut album is August 2010.

The song comes as a sequel to her recent hit debut ‘If You Want Me’, which is already enjoying heavy rotation on radio stations across the nation; with the video blazing hard on local and Cable TV stations.

With a heavy traditionally influenced beat, a catchy hook “Ko Maa Roll” which simply translates to “Let it Roll” and the distinctive voice of Mo’Cheddah, Knighthouse, in collaboration with Producers ‘Legendary Beats’ deliver a track that is sure to dominate radio and clubs everywhere.

She’s sincerely one of my favorite female artists. With a distinctive voice and style, there’s no doubt in my mind that she’ll grow to be one of the female artists of our generation to be reckoned with. Watch out for Mo’ Cheddah people!

OOTV: Lokei

Born Titilope Ademokun, Lokei though based out of Nigeria, has always had a unique appreciation for culture which is evident in both her song and dance. Venturing into the art of dance and singing since age 3, she has continued to perform for crowds in order to attain the highest level of confidence on the stage. She has worked with 107.5 WGCI as a promotions and programming intern which allowed her to network and receive advice from such artist as Keri Hilson and Omarion. Her music can be described as rhythmic and soulful, while bursting with R&B. Lokei has had experience performing alongside some of the industries finest artist. She has opened up for headliners such as Avant, One Chance, Shawnna, Michael Blackson, Naeto C, Wande Coal, Do or Die, Really Doe, Jeremih, Day 26 and more. She is a creative writer and prides herself on being the author of all of her songs. LoKei is a born leader, from forming her own Dance Troop, along with her M.O.N. Ladies movement, to recently starting a small label called N.I.N.A.A. (no is never an answer) Records and there is no limit to what she can do.

In the future you can look forward to the further development of N.I.N.A.A. Records as well as her mix tape “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” that she plans to release by the end of this year. The sky is the limit for LoKei and she is consistently reaching for the clouds.

OOTV: Constance Alex

Constance Alex, a multi-talented singer/song writer, was born in Denver Colorado to her Nigerian parents in 1984. At a tender age her mother relocated to Nigeria where Constance spent so many years before returning to the United States. With a power house voice that melts every soul, two of her original songs “Some One For Me” and “He Doesn’t Know It” are the movie sound tracks for the movie “Between Kings and Queens”. In March 2010 Constance traveled to Nigeria to promote her single “Take Me Away” from the album “I’m In Love” which is currently making a huge buzz both on Television and Radio. Her single and her full album “I’m In Love” will be released nationwide by TMG one of the biggest Christian marketing companies in the United States, adding with bookings for her promo tour which is currently in works now.

Constance Alex has proven that you can be anything and get any where as long as you work hard, put God first and believe in yourself regardless of how much people around you do or do not believe in you. In her words “ Earlier in my career I had no support, no help from any one, I struggled for so many years, working two jobs to support myself and sponsor my musical career, my goals and dreams seemed too big and too much to achieve judging from where I was, it will seem impossible. I am still working my way to the top and I know I will get there”.
She’s definitely got an amazing voice and I’ll love to see her perform alongside with Ibiyemi. Definitely nice to see more gospel artists coming forth. She’s definitely someone to look out for!

AiRis releases two tracks from upcoming album

AiRis recently released two tracks following her hit single “Without you” from her upcoming album: The AiRis Project. On one of the tracks, she collaborates with Ice Prince. Both tracks are different compared to “Without you” but she still delivers quality!

Mo’Cheddah releases video to “If you want me”

Here is the video to one of my favorite songs by Mo’Cheddah. The video comes hot on the heels of her Hiphop World Award nomination for Next Rated. She’s also set to release a new single and a video. Her album, The Franchise Celebrity, drops 1st week in August 2010.
