Repping Zara!

Rep Naija Artists is proud to REP our FIRST female artist: Zara a.k.a Ms. Zwagger a.k.a the first lady of Alapomeji!!

Zara is a force to be reckoned with and definitely a person to watch out for in the upcoming years. I first heard about Zara when she had the song called “Action (Touch my Body)” with Iceberg Slim. I recall being stuck on that song for a while, walking around singing ara n ro mi, come and be my panadol!

Though she started out in the entertainment business as a dancer, she gave her music career a shot thanks to the encouragement of a few industry friends such as Dj Dee Money, Eldee the Don, and Keno and this by far could be the best decision she ever made. Zara hasn’t looked back since she started performing as a musician.

Zara’s style is so diversified that she cannot be boxed up into any particular genre; she is every genre that you can imagine: pop, rap, hip-hop, afro-beat, whatever genre you can think, Zara has dabbled in it. Not only does Zara have dance tracks on her resume, she also has nice, deep songs such as “Sunshine” which features Emerald and Keno. Zara has worked with various producers such as T-money and Kid Konnect. Perhaps her biggest fan is her mother, who has raised, cherished and been a constant supporter of her career!

If you have never seen Zara perform in person, then you better get with the program, because she is by far one of the best Nigerian performers that I have ever seen live!

Watch out for Zara concert dates being released all over the United States and in the future, Nigeria. Zara’s swagger, zwagger, is so electric that you cannot sit still during her performance; I witnessed this first-hand at the Naija DJ’s summer jam where she performed a few of her hits and also the song “Show Yourself” with the some U.S. based Naija femcees (Naira, Nyja, Felyne, and Ezzie B).

Zara is currently hard at work wrapping up the final details on her first album which she should be dropping in the near future. Hop on the Zwagger train and you will not be disappointed!
